Recipe: Salt Dough Ornaments


– 4 cups Flour

– 1 cup Salt

– 1.5 cups Water (maybe a little more)

– Christmas Cookie Cutters



Measure out the flour and water.

Add the water.

Stir with a wooden spoon.

Keep stirring until the dough is mostly together and is hard to stir any longer.

Knead a few times with hands to bring the dough together.

Place dough between two pieces of parchment paper and roll out.

Use cookie cutters for desired shape.

*don’t forget to poke a hole in the top to thread your ribbon through so you can hang your ornament.

Bake approx. 2 hours then let cool and decorate!
